Relief
Finally today I'm starting to feel some relief health wise after my infusion two weeks ago and off and on nausea. Actually was able to take the girls to dance this morning, take them all to the dentist, run to Kroger next door for a few groceries and then have Double Dave's Pizza Buffet for lunch with the girls. All incident free! This is huge!

Song with No Name....yet
So Eric has a song with no name. Out of the flow from the Holy Spirit after Good Friday Service at church and Romans 8:1 the song with no name...yet was born:
We were there
At the cross, when He died
By His grace we are made, justified
And we will conquer more than this through His love
Everyday we live in glory because
There is
Therefore, now
No condemnation
For those
Who are
In Christ Jesus
Reconciled
Out of death, we're alive
We are seized
By His love, The Lord of High
And we will shower Him with praise everyday
His grace has covered us what more can we say
There is
Therefore, now
No condemnation
For those
Who are
In Christ Jesus
Our dear friend Chris came to the house this past Saturday and we recorded a demo that we're going to pass on to our Worship Pastor...excited to see how the Lord uses this...

Time Flies!
Wow, too long since my last post! Considering regularly updating my blog. Maybe a good place to air my thoughts...
Anya is 4.5 yrs old now, Sasha just turned 3 and Karina just turned 2, wow, how time flies!
I recently launched my Mobile Spa business through BeautiControl and am loving it. So much fun to pamper other women with great products and fellowship with them too, which is my favorite part of it all. Love the new relationships :)
Girls keep us busy, and AWANA for Anya and Sasha has proved so worth it. Hearing Anya recite her weekly verses and express understanding of a particular story for the Bible just warms my heart! They also do dance once a week and love that too.
Eric and I are thrilled to be serving as LifeGroup leaders for the past year now through out home church, Bent Tree, and the Lord has richly blessed it. I'm still part of the worship team at Bent Tree and still enjoy serving through song.

Anya's 3
I still can't believe that Anya's already 3 years old. We celebrated her 3rd birthday at the end of last month. She had a blast and so did we. She received such generous gifts! And can we say Disney Princess to the 10th power? WOW, she got a lot of Disney Princess themed items and she LOVED it!
Sasha's First Haircut
Okay, so I'm a bit behind on my blogging-chalk it up to our 3 little girls ages 3 and under. I had every intentions of posting pics with comments as I uploaded them to my pc and it just doesn't seem to happen..I'll keep trying :0
Back in early July, Sasha got her first haircut. She did so good, just sat there, sucked on a sucker and looked around. My battery went dead in my camera when we were there, so when I got home I took a pic of her final 'look' right before lunch

The Sasha Factor
When Karina was born February 28, 2008, the term "The Sasha Factor" was born. When we came home from the hospital and I was recovering from the c-section, people were coming over to help out until I was healed and could lift babies again, go upstairs, drive, etc. They would ask "What do you need help with the most?". To which we replied "Sasha". Not because she was difficult, but just the fact that I couldn't lift her, chase after her, lift her in her crib, etc. Anya was okay as she could walk up the stairs, bring me things like diapers, climb into her bed and Karina was easy since being a newborn she was light and slept most of the day. So people would ask how we're doing with 3 under 3 and we'd reply, "Doing okay, it's just the Sasha Factor until Wendy's healed" :)

Joining the 21st Century & makeup on a 2 year old
So I've finally created a blog. Not sure how often I'll update it, but I promise to do my best to update you with what's going on with ASK Purdin (that is Anya, Sasha and Karina..and oh yeah, Eric and I too :) )
So today was a first in the Purdin house hold. Make up on a two year old.
Anya is in a Twinkle Toes dance class at the dance centre around the corner from our house and on June 14th is her Spring Concert.
So, today was picture day, so that meant she had to be in her costume with stage make up and all. It was easy to put on foundation, eye shadow and blush...but eyeliner? On a 2 year old? Geesss..and the lipstick was another story. She kept smacking her lips and it would wear off and bleed and ended up on her chin. While I appreciate the fact that the stage make up is needed so her face doesn't wash out on stage, how can a Mom actually be successful in putting make up on her 2 year old? When we arrived at the dance centre, her teacher said, "Oh her make up looks great!". I breathed a sigh of relief..success! And of course she was absolutely beautiful and the pictures turned out so well it was hard to pick a pose. Our precious little Anya..what an angel and joy she brings us. Attached is a picture of Anya at day's end, playing in my clothes and crazy hair that still looks cute after being in a bun for pictures and hair sprayed. And as crazy as it was, it was worth every minute.
